Hello everyone! I’m a professional photographer who has been using Canon cameras for many years. I’m here to teach you the ropes of how to turn on a Canon camera, so that you can get the most out of your photography experience.

First, you will need to open the camera’s cover. On some models, this may be accessed by sliding the camera’s rear cover off of the camera body. On other models, you will need to remove the battery cover.

Once you have opened the camera, you will need to locate the power button. It is typically located on the right side of the camera body, just above the lens.

Next, you will need to press and hold the power button until the camera’s power light starts to turn blue.

Once the light has turned blue, you can release the power button and the camera will startup.

To turn the camera off, you will need to press and hold the power button until the camera’s power light turns red.

Locate the On/Off switch on the top of your Canon camera.

  1. Open the Canon Camera.
  2. Look for the On/Off switch on the top of the camera.
  3. Slide the switch to the On position.
  4. Press the shutter button to take a picture.

Flip the switch to the On position.
