How To Transfer Photos From Canon Camera To Phone

If you have photos saved to your Canon camera’s memory card, you can easily transfer them to your phone using a variety of methods. You can use a cable or a wireless transfer app.

Connect your Canon camera to your phone using a USB cable.

1. Turn on your Canon camera and wait until the screen turns black

  1. Hold down the ‘Brush’ button and wait until the screen turns white
  2. Immediately release the ‘Brush’ button and your camera will start transferring photos
  3. The photos will be transferred to your phone in a series of folders labelled ‘DCIM’.

On the next screen, select the option to “Send”
Your photo will be sent to your email address

Select the photos you want to transfer and copy them to your phone.

Open the photo editor on your phone and select all of the photos
Tap and hold on one of the photos and select “Copy”
Paste the photo into the photo editor on your computer and select all of the photos
Tap and hold on one of the photos and select “Paste”
Voilà! You have successfully transferred all of your photos to your phone.

Alternatively, you can use Canon’s Image Transfer Utility app to transfer photos.

There are a few ways to transfer photos from a Canon camera to a phone:
-Using the Canon Image Transfer Utility app:

  1. Open the Canon Image Transfer Utility app and connect your Canon camera to your computer.
  2. On the camera screen, select the photos you want to transfer.
  3. On the computer screen, select the photos you want to copy to your phone.
  4. Click Start.

    -Using a USB cable:

  5. Connect your camera to your computer using a USB cable.
  6. On the camera screen, select the photos you want to copy to your phone.
  7. Click Start.

    -Using your phone:

    -Copying to a different folder:

  15. Tap the photos you want to copy to your phone.
  16. Tap Copy to New Folder.

    -Copying to a different partition:

  17. Open the Photos app on your phone.
  18. Tap the photos you want to copy to

Keep in mind that you may need to adjust your phone’s settings to enable file transfers.

Assuming your Canon EOS Rebel T6i or T6s digital SLR camera has an SD card slot and you have a compatible Canon smartphone or tablet, you can easily and quickly transfer photos from your camera to your smartphone or tablet.

First, ensure that your Canon EOS Rebel T6i or T6s digital SLR camera is connected to your smartphone or tablet via a USB cable.
