So you’ve purchased your new Canon camera and are eager to get started snapping some amazing photos! But before you can even think about taking pictures, you first need to connect your camera to your computer.

To do this, follow these simple steps:

1. Turn on your camera and wait for it to connect to your computer.

2. Once your camera is connected, open up your computer’s USB port and plug your camera into it.

3. Windows should now show a new “My Computer” icon with a yellow lightning bolt beside it. Double-click on this icon to open it up.

4. Locate the “Devices and Printers” section of the My Computer window and click on it.

5. You’ll now see your camera listed under “Devices.” Right-click on it and select “Properties.”

6. In the Properties window, click on the “Device Manager” tab.

7. You’ll now see a yellow “Start” button in the Device Manager window. Click on it.

8. In the “Device Manager” window that pops up, scroll down until you see the “Canon EOS Rebel T7i” entry. Right-click on it and select “Update Driver.”
