If you have a Canon camera and want to take pictures with it, you can download the pictures to your computer. There are a few different ways to do this. Connect Your Camera to Your Mac
First, connect your Canon camera to your computer using the supplied USB cable. Next, open your Canon camera’s software and locate the “Photos” folder. Double-click on the “Photos” folder to open it. Next, locate the “Pictures” folder and drag and drop the pictures you want to download onto the “Photos” folder. Finally, select the pictures you want to download and click on the “Download” button.
Select the Images You Want to Download

- Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the image window and select “Download Photos.”
- Select the folder in which you want to save the photos and click on “Download.”
Download the Images to Your Mac
Assuming you have a Canon digital camera connected to your computer, the first step is to download the Canon software that came with the camera. This software allows you to connect the camera to your computer and download the pictures you’ve taken.

5. The photos will be imported to the Canon camera software and the Canon camera window will close.
6. Click the Photos menu and select Export.
7. Select the folder where you want to save the exported photos and click Export.
8. The photos will be exported to the folder you selected.
Organize the Images on Your Mac
- Open the Photos app on your Mac.
- Select the photos you want to download.
- Click the “Download Photos” button under the photos.
- Select the folder where you want to save the photos.
- Click the “Download” button.
- The photos will be downloaded to your Mac.
Canon cameras come with software that allows you to download pictures taken with the camera to your computer. This software is usually included on the camera, and usually has a simple, easy-to-use interface. Once you have downloaded the software, you can view and save your pictures to your computer.
