1.Insert the Canon USB cable into the USB port on your Mac and the other end of the Canon USB cable into the camera.

2.Click on the ‘Start’ icon on your computer screen and select ‘Devices and Printers’.

3.Click on the ‘Canon Camera’ icon to open the Canon Camera window.

4.Click on the ‘Connect’ button to open the Connect window.

5.Select ‘USB’ as the connection type and click on the ‘OK’ button.

6.The Canon Camera window will now show the device information for the camera.

7.Click on the ‘Back’ button to return to the Canon Camera window.

8.Click on the ‘Pictures’ tab to open the Pictures window.

9.The Pictures window will now show the photos captured by the camera.

10.To transfer photos from the camera to your computer, click on the ‘Import’ button and select the photos you want to transfer.

11.The photos will now be imported into the Pictures window and can be edited or shared as desired.

Launch the Canon Utility software

Selecting the camera from the list on the left-hand side, click on the ‘Ensure’ button

On the next screen, click on the ‘Wireless Setup’ button

Select the network you want to connect the camera to and enter the password

On the next screen, you will be asked to select a server. If you are using a LAN connection, you can leave this as the default. If you are using a wireless connection, you will need to enter the WPA2 security key.

Click on the ‘Next’ button
