Canon cameras are great for photography, but sometimes you just want to take a picture without having to connect the camera to your computer. Luckily, Canon has made it easy to do this by providing a way to connect the camera to your computer via wifi.

If you’re connecting a Canon camera to a computer for the first time, you’ll first need to Download the Canon Camera Connect app
When the app launches, select your camera from the list on the left hand side.

  1. Power on your Canon Camera and wait a few seconds until it displays the WiFi Connection Status.
  2. Click on the WiFi icon located on the top right corner of your camera’s display.
  3. Select your wireless network and enter the security key if prompted.
  4. Click on the Connect button.
  5. Once connected, your camera should display the Canon Camera Connection Status as Connected.
  6. Open the Canon Camera’s File Explorer and navigate to the folder where your photos and videos are stored.
    7.Select the photos and videos you want to transfer and drag and drop them into the desired location on your computer.

  7. Replace any damaged files and close the Canon Camera’s File Explorer.
  8. Disconnect from the Canon Camera’s WiFi network by clicking on the WiFi icon and selecting Disconnect.
    10. Your photos and videos are now stored on your computer and can be accessed by opening the Canon Camera’s File Explorer and navigating to the folder where your photos and videos are stored.

Assuming you have a Canon Digital Camera with WiFi, follow these steps to connect wirelessly:

-Open the Canon Camera App on your smartphone or tablet.
-If you have a Canon Camera with a built-in WiFi antenna, you will see a list of available networks. If not, tap the “Settings” icon on the main camera screen and select “ WiFi.”
-Enter the WiFi network name and password.
-If prompted, select “Enable” to allow the camera to connect to the network and start downloading photos.
-The camera will begin to upload photos to the specified WiFi network as soon as it is connected.
