How To Connect A Canon Camera To Wifi

Canon cameras are some of the most commonly used cameras in the world and they are often used for photography and videography. However, if you want to take advantage of the camera’s features and use them wirelessly, you will need to connect the camera to a wifi network. There are a few different ways to do this and this article will walk you through the process of connecting a canon camera to wifi.

Download the Canon Camera Connect app

  1. Open the Camera Connect app on your phone.

    2. Tap the blue WiFi icon in the top left corner.

    3. Enter your wifi network name and password.

    4. Tap Connect.

    5. The app will search for your Canon camera and connect automatically.

    6. Enjoy your photos and videos!

Open the app and select your camera

On the camera’s main screen, tap the WiFi icon.
Select the network you wish to connect to.
Enter the security code provided by your router.
Tap Connect.
Once connected, you’ll see the camera’s SSID and password on the app.
Select the camera from the list of devices on your network.
tap the photo or video button to start recording.

Choose the “Create Connection” option

  4. Enter your camera’s password.
  5. Select your Wi-Fi network and connect.

Once you have turned on your wifi on your canon camera and connected to the internet, open the app on your smartphone and select the Add Device option.

You will be prompted to enter the wifi password if it is different to the one that accompanies the camera. Once you have entered the correct password, you will be able to select the Camera option and then the wifi option.

You will now be able to see a list of devices that are connected to the wifi network that your camera is on. Select your camera from the list and you will be taken to the main camera screen.

You will now be able to transfer photos and videos to your smartphone by selecting the Transfer Files option and selecting the file that you want to transfer.

Your camera and smartphone are now connected!

  4. Enter the password if needed
  5. Tap Connect
  6. View your photos and videos
  7. Share them with friends
  8. Profit!
